The plot revolves around the Brewster family, who are  eccentric and charming aunts living in Brooklyn. They  are known for their charitable acts of letting rooms to lonely old men, believing it is a form of charity, with misguided results! Their nephew,   Teddy, who believes he is Theodore Roosevelt, is their main accomplice. The play explores themes of family, madness, and the macabre, as  the Brewsters’ actions lead to a series of murders and confessions that unravel their dark secrets.
